Obituary of John Stanley McAulay

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John McAulay of Paisley, formerly of Sauble Beach, on July 4, 2015 in Walkerton in his 92nd year. John served Canada proudly in WW II. He enjoyed watching most sports and was an avid Blue Jays and golf fan. He will be most missed for his witty sense of humour and never ending smile. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (nee Smithers)( pre 2010). Loved father of Jack and his wife Marion of Waterloo, Brian of Brampton and Bob and his wife Kelly of Paisley. Lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Mildred McAulay of Toronto and Marjorie Hayes of Brampton. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by brothers Grant, Boyd and Clayton. A memorial service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 340, 630 Green Street, Port Elgin on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Port Elgin Legion Poppy Fund or the Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
